Netflix reveals first clip from action spy thriller The Gray Man

In the most recent trailer for the Russo brothers’ new thriller The Gray Man, Ryan Gosling was first seen playing a James Bond-like CIA agent. Now, we have an action-packed clip to watch as well.

Gosling’s character battles his way past multiple villainous henchmen in the new video shown during a panel at Netflix’s Geeked Week before meeting the movie’s antagonist: Lloyd (Chris Evans). There are explosions, Gosling uses a person as a human shield, and Evans whispers the phrase “Ballsy” menacingly. What more could one ask for?

The official synopsis of the series is as follows: “The Gray Man is CIA operative Court Gentry (Ryan Gosling), aka, Sierra Six. Plucked from a federal penitentiary and recruited by his handler, Donald Fitzroy (Billy Bob Thornton), Gentry was once a highly-skilled, Agency-sanctioned merchant of death. But now the tables have turned and Six is the target, hunted across the globe by Lloyd Hansen (Chris Evans), a former cohort at the CIA, who will stop at nothing to take him out. Agent Dani Miranda (Ana de Armas) has his back. He’ll need it.”
