Netflix has announced season two of All of Us Are Dead

Netflix has revealed that the Korean zombie apocalyptic horror thriller All of Us Are Dead will have a second season. Netflix Korea posted a poster and a video on Instagram. The caption read, “Can we survive again? The second story of Hyosan High School friends’ fierce zombie survival period begins. #Now our school is #AllofUsAreDead #Netflix #Netflix.” 

Based on the Naver webtoon Now at Our School, the K-drama. In this coming-of-age drama, kids from a South Korean high school are followed as they struggle to escape an epidemic of zombies brought on by a botched scientific experiment. The 12-episode first season of All of Us Are Dead was well-received when it made its premiere in late January.

Six pupils were depicted being saved but being confined by the government in season one’s finale, which was left unresolved. Yoo In-soo and Chan-young were seen fighting, and Chan-young was believed to be dead but it was not confirmed. Cho Yi Hyun was depicted as having zombie parts.

The cast of the series, The Swoon sent video messages in a video that was also released on Instagram. Yoon Chan-young, who appeared on the programme wearing his school uniform, addressed the camera and said, “Is this on? Is this working? Hello everyone. It’s been a while. Thank you to the Netflix fans worldwide for giving so much love to All of Us Are Dead season 1.” Park Ji-hu said, “How are you? We’ve been doing well. Did you hear the news?” Park Solomon said, “All of Us Are Dead season 2 is confirmed. We hope you also enjoy season 2.” Cho Yi-hyun said, “What will happen in All of Us Are Dead season 2? My friends are waiting for me, so I’m going to leave now. See you!”

The caption for the video was written, “The gang is back for round 2 against the zombies and all of us are hyped. Season 2 of ALL OF US ARE DEAD is coming for you. Only on Netflix.” Along with more seasoned performers Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo, the show included a majority of newbies, including Park Ji-hu, Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, and Lee Yoo-mi. According to news agency PTI, Yoon Chan-young, Park Ji-hu, Cho Yi-hyun, and Park Solomon will reprise their roles in season two.
