Minions: Rise of Gru will be the summer blockbuster. The second instalment in the Minions franchise and the sixth overall in the Despicable Me franchise hits theatres on July 1st and will be available on Netflix in the United States soon.

When is Minions: The Rise of Gru coming to Netflix?
As part of a legacy agreement between Universal and Netflix, Sing 2 was notably added to Netflix (in the United States) in June 2022. Let’s break down Minions: Rise of Gru’s Netflix release because it will follow extremely distinct guidelines.
If we take a look at The Bad Guys, another movie heading to Netflix in this unique way, it just set its Peacock release date and is anticipated to be there later this year. However, it did get to Peacock a little bit later than anticipated; instead of arriving 45 days after its theatrical debut, it did so 70 days later.
