There is still enough evidence to believe that Spriggan will be renewed for a second season even though Netflix has not yet done so at the time of writing. First of all, despite the manga having 11 released tankbon/volumes, the anime has not yet covered all of its source material. Second, the post-credits scene introduces Yu to the second season’s adversary.
What to expect from Spriggan’s second season
Sho Kanaya was introduced in the season one end-credits scene. Sho has yet to be named in the anime series, but he is one of Yu’s most dangerous enemies and rivals in the manga. Sho, who attends the same school as Yu, is assigned to infiltrate and assassinate the former COSMOS soldier. Sho, who possesses the same abilities as the ARCAM soldiers, is a force to be reckoned with. We can’t go any further without revealing too much about Sho Kanaya, but fans will adore him.
When will the second season of Spriggan be available on Netflix?
At this point, any discussion of the release of Spriggan’s second season is purely speculative. Fans may have to wait a long time unless the animation studio, David Production, is already working on the second season. Producing an anime season takes a significant amount of time, so we may not see Spriggan again until late 2023 or early 2024.
