First Kill’s initial three-day run can be compared to other shows to determine how it compares. In contrast, Heartstopper only received 14.55 million views (which declined with episodes that were shorter in length).
A different sci-fi/fantasy-like programme with a makeup that is similar is In From The Cold. In its first three days on the service, that accrued 24.72M hours. Even if that show hasn’t been picked up for a second season yet, it’s important to note that viewership dropped significantly from weeks two to three—by a whopping 64%.

This eventually leads to a major squabble, with Juliette and Calliope’s relationship seemingly dead, and Cal vowing to one day kill Juliette and all legacies like her.
One of the major plot lines for a second season would be Theo’s transformation into a vampire and his journey into that world and coming to terms with his new reality. According to DigitalSpy, Elinor is in trouble for a second season by saying:
“Elinor’s involvement in the Theo-vamp saga has inadvertently landed her in police custody.” How will she get out of jail without her parents’ help? Multiple murders are on the horizon.”
