Alma awakens with no memories of the incident or her past after surviving a bus crash that kills the majority of her classmates. Her parents appear to be strangers, and her home is full of secrets and mystery. She begins to suspect that everyone around her is lying and attempting to transform her into someone else. Trapped in a world she doesn’t recognise, she must piece together the events that led up to the accident before her true identity is lost forever.

Principal photography for The Girl in the Mirror began nearly two years ago in Llanes, Asturias, Spain. Manresa, Catalonia, Spain, was also used for filming. It’s unclear how long the series took to film, but IMDb Pro has the project listed as in post-production since July 24th, 2021. According to a recent update from another source, the project will be completed on June 13th, 2022.
