Record of Ragnarok Season 2 Gets a Teaser Poster with a 2023 Release Date

Record of Ragnarok’s first season gave the Netflix series an explosive start. The anime has been given a second season because there are still more fights between humans and the gods to be had.
Although it technically hails from Warner Bros. Japan, Record of Ragnarok is a Netflix Original fantasy-action anime series that is a translation of the manga series of the same name by Shinya Umeura and Takumi Fukui. The anime producer for the show is Graphinica, who has worked on shows including Another World, Wonder Momo, and Hellsing.

A new image promising more of the divine battles to come in Record of Ragnarok has revealed its projected release window and announced its official return to Netflix with a second season! The anime adaptation of the cult favourite manga series by Shinya Umemura, Takumi Fukui, and Ajichika made its Netflix debut worldwide last Summer, and the first season teased fans that there were already preparations in place to continue the series with a second season. Since those ambitions were first hinted at last year, word hasn’t spread much, but the second season has finally made a significant advancement.

The second season of Record of Ragnarok will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2023, according to the account’s official Twitter feed. A poster showing the upcoming sequence of bouts that viewers will witness in action in the new episodes has given fans a better idea of what to expect from the new episodes, despite the regrettable lack of a release date. Some important literary and mythological characters will still appear, but only if the new episodes of the series are more successful. Look at the flyer below:

Due to the way each fight was animated in the first season, it caused some extremely polarising reactions among fans, so there’s a good bit of worry that the new episodes would be repeating the same problems. However, it won’t be until next year that we will be able to watch it in action. The first batch of episodes from the series are presently available on Netflix if you’re interested in seeing it before the second season debuts there next year.

“Finally, an anime adaptation of this wildly popular manga series with over 6 million copies in print will be released! The fate of humanity is on the line as 13 one-on-one confrontations pit representatives from human history against the world’s deities. Graphinica, the animation company behind Juni Taisen: Zodiac War and Hello Universe, is responsible for bringing this intense world to life on screen. Graphinica has already illustrated many bloody 3D CG battles in anime including Blade of the Immortal, Promare, and Girls und Panzer. A battle-action anime that is both exhilarating and transcendent appears on screen!”
