Post Malone spoke out about his battle with drinking in a recent interview with Howard Stern on the Howard Stern Show, highlighting how his girlfriend assisted him in quitting his addiction. Malone stated that he is “responsible now” in regards to his consumption.
According to Page Six, the singer of “Circles” admitted, “It was to a really rough point, and I couldn’t get up off the floor for weeks.” Furthermore, Malone acknowledged that his favoured beverage had a negative affect on him. ‘Screwdrivers,’ a blend of vodka and orange juice, was the singer’s favorite alcoholic beverage throughout the conversation.
Page Six quoted Malone as saying, “It was vodka, and it was bodying fifths and trying to hang in there and talking to people who weren’t… there,” Malone, on the other hand, has linked his success in quitting alcoholism to his girlfriend, who he says “saved” his life. The name of Malone’s future bride has yet to be revealed. “I just have super beautiful people around me, and I met a really beautiful person that made me feel like a human being again. It’s the guidance out of the dark into the light… She saved my… life… it’s pretty epic.”
In addition, the songwriter of the famous song “Rockstar” revealed that his drinking was caused by a lack of self-esteem at a moment in his life when he was dissatisfied with who he was, according to Page Six. “Now I just want to be better every… day,” Malone came to a decision. Meanwhile, Post Malone and his fiancée just had a baby girl. The rapper expressed his delight at being a parent, something he had wished for since he was a child. On June 3, the rapper and songwriter launched his new album, ‘Twelve Carat Toothache.’
