The Old Guard has been available on Netflix for nearly two years. The long-awaited sequel has finally begun filming, and we have new casting news. Here is everything we know about The Old Guard 2, also known as The Old Guard Chapter Two: Force Multiplied.
The Old Guard, directed by Charlize Theron, is a superhero film in which she plays Andy, an immortal warrior who has influenced history for ages. It’s based on Greg Rucka’s comic book series.

After being in priority development for quite some time, we finally have an update on the film’s status. So far, we know that Skydance Media, Denver and Delilah Films, and Marc Evans Productions are producing The Old Guard 2 for Netflix.

What is the plot of The Old Guard 2?

The Old Guard: Force Multiplied puts an end to the intense conflict between Andromache of Scythia and her former lover, Noriko, according to CBR’s excellent summary of what transpired in the comic (how closely the Netflix sequel will follow the original is unknown). Noriko, enraged by her return from the ocean’s depths, was hunting Andy’s immortals as part of a long-term game.

An official synopsis provides a general idea of what to anticipate from the follow-up:
“In this second tale that details the struggles and hardships of their shaky immortality, Andromache of Scythia and her band of soldiers are returned. With 6,000 years of history at your back, the past is always poised to resurface—with a vengeance. Nile’s joining the team has given them fresh purpose and new direction.
