First Look At Lana Condor As A Ghost In Netflix’s Boo, Bitch

The official trailer for Boo, Bitch, an eight-episode live-action YA comedy limited series from Erin Ehrlich (Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, King of the Hill) and Lauren Iungerich, has been published by Netflix (On My Block, Awkward).
Lana Condor (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) plays as Erica Vu, a high school senior who has spent her life quietly. Over the course of one night, she seizes the opportunity to change her narrative and begin living an epic life, only to discover the next morning that she is a motherf*% king ghost.
The cast also includes Zoe Colletti, Mason Versaw, Aparna Brielle, Tenzing Norgay Trainor, and Jason Genao, in addition to Condor.

Erika Vu, the protagonist of Condor, is a high school senior who has led a largely conventional existence. Erika sets out one evening with the intention of having “genuine fun” before she leaves school.
The next day, she learns what “genuine enjoyment” has resulted in: Erika becomes a ghost with unfinished business that must be resolved on the earthly world before she departs. A humorous and irreverent take on what may otherwise be a gory topic is promised in the trailer.

Emoticons of hearts, fire, and ghosts were abundant in the comments area of her article and those that were reposted online.
One Condor fan responded to the post with, “New character unlocked.” It seems being deceased affected her judgement. Another user made a joke, “I’ll let myself out.
What is the general opinion? The prospect of Condor taking the helm of a new project excites people. One supporter tweeted, “We love to see it.”

An initial script optioned from newcomers and co-creators Tim Schauer and Kuba Soltysiak was rewritten by writers Ehrlich and Iungerich.
Along with Condor, Blake Goza (The Escort), Jonathon Komack Martin (Deadpool), and Jamie Dooner, Ehrlich and Iungerich serve as showrunners and executive produce (On My Block). Co-executive producers will be Schauer and Soltysiak.
On July 8, Netflix will release Boo, Bitch.
