Modern society has seen an increase in all kinds of technology over the last few years, and it shows no indications of slowing down. Viewers will gain even more insight into numerous possibilities of where technology may be headed as the show investigates what could happen in the new Netflix docuseries The Future Of. Netflix has unveiled the official teaser and poster for the film ahead of its June premiere.

The Verge’s first Netflix show, The Future Of, will premiere on June 21st after nearly three years of development, with a second set of episodes following on June 28th.
The Future Of, narrated by Jurnee Smollett, is an ambitious look at how everything around us might alter over time. And it truly is a show about everything: our episodes cover everything from cheeseburgers and pets to skyscrapers and afterlife. We tried to imagine how these things would evolve in our lifetimes, the near future, and then the farthest possibilities we could think of. And we did it by talking to the folks who are currently working on these concepts — as well as a few Verge reporters along the road. Consider it a futuristic documentary.

“How about storing your info in your houseplant?” The official trailer for Netflix’s The Future Of, an interesting series about the future of the planet, has been released. This documentary series, produced by The Verge and Vox Media Studios, examines how technology will alter the fundamental components of our life in the future. It’s a meditative, speculative series that shows us the future by utilising existing technology and ideas in the works. Jurnee Smollett provides narration. Dogs, relationships, houseplants, gaming, space trips, cheeseburgers, life after death, sports, fashion, skyscrapers, health, and headphones are among the 12 episodes in the documentary series. I’m a major “future” nerd (and sci-fi geek) who enjoys exploring all the possibilities, which is why I’m interested in this series. I don’t expect all of this will happen; part of it may simply make no sense, or we’ll go on to something else. Or the speculation is completely incorrect. But let’s wait and see! Some of this is bad, and I wish they’d confess it – “living forever” has been explored in science fiction for a long time. Look at the trailer below.

What if we could see into the future and see how technology will affect every part of our everyday life, from rearing pets and home plants to what we eat and how we date? We may and should anticipate better from the future than the dystopia that current science fiction promises. The Future Of will reveal unexpected and personal forecasts about the rest of our lives – as well as the lives of future generations. Vox Media Studios, The Verge, and 21 Laps Entertainment produced The Future Of. There is currently no information on the episode directors.

Nilay Patel and Eleanor Donovan executive produce for The Verge, Shawn Levy and Josh Barry for 21 Laps Entertainment, and Chad Mumm, Mark W. Olsen, Max Heckman, Michael John Warren, and Chris Grosso for Vox Media Studios. There are a total of 12 short episodes covering a variety of topics. The Future Of doc series will premiere on Netflix on June 21st, 2022, with the second batch of episodes premiering on June 28th this summer. Curious?
