Marvel Studios:

Marvel Studios has “been tremendously supportive of what we’re doing,” according to Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who also worked on the first two Deadpool flicks. Resse continued by saying, “I believe they’ve witnessed achievement and have had even greater success themselves. So, fingers crossed, it’ll be a match made in heaven. In relation to the merger, he remarked, “You know, it was never a marriage we expected to happen – Fox and Disney were an external factor [unrelated] to our narrative process. But, or at least, we’re trying to locate the serendipity and gold in that circumstance.”

Shawn Levy will helm Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds. They’ve previously collaborated on projects like Free Guy and The Adam Project on Netflix.
