Depp took the stand again on Wednesday, according to ET Canada, as Heard’s attorney Ben Rottenborn combed through a tense cross-examination in which he once again called up Depp’s previous text conversations and read them aloud in court. Though this paragraph caused an uncommon reaction from Heard, who cried as the explicit text was read aloud. Johnny stressed in the text that he is done with his ex-wife and that he wanted to disprove her baseless charges of domestic violence and abuse.
In the communication, Depp expressed his desire for Heard’s death and stated that the Aquaman actress was “begging for utter worldwide disgrace,” to which he added, “she’s going to get it.” The text was presumably received around the time Heard filed for a restraining order in conjunction with her divorce petition, despite failing to provide Depp’s lawyers the requisite 24-hour notice.
