Chris Pratt and Katherine Schwarzenegger have welcomed their second child into the world. On Sunday night, the actor and his author wife announced on their Instagram profiles that they had had a baby girl called Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt on Saturday. The caption reads, “We are so excited to announce the birth of our second daughter, Eloise Christina Schwarzenegger Pratt. Mama and baby are doing well. We feel beyond blessed and grateful. Love, Katherine and Chris.”
Lyla Schwarzenegger Pratt, the couple’s daughter, was born in August 2020 after the couple married in 2019. Pratt and ex-wife Anna Faris have a 9-year-old son named Jack. Schwarzenegger, the daughter of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, has already spoken out about managing parenting with the aid of her other half.
Katherine and Chris first became romantically involved in 2018 and married the following year. While the couple kept specifics regarding Katherine’s pregnancy mostly private, as they always do with family matters, insiders told People late last year that she and Pratt were expecting another child. For those who are unaware, the celebrity pair married in a private ceremony in 2019.
Following the announcement of Schwarzenegger’s pregnancy in December, the couple was seen strolling with the mother’s baby bump on display. The BDA Baby podcast host shared on her show in March that their daughter Layla was ecstatic to be an older sister. The 32-year-old mother wrote, via ET, while revealing a photo of two dolls wearing diapers. She wrote, “The latest toddler treats I find around the house… all her babies and stuffies are wearing diapers and bandaids.” She continued, “Mamas girl is nesting (fun fact: the doll on the left was bought when I was born and is doing well 32 years later) #vintage.”
