You can’t say The Boys team doesn’t keep fans up to date on everything; on January 7, the official release date for season three was confirmed as June 3, 2022.Filming for the third instalment began on February 24, 2021, and the group officially wrapped for the third season on September 17, 2021.Unlike other streaming sites, The Boys switched plans between seasons one and two, releasing episodes weekly rather than in one big batch.

Jensen Ackles of Supernatural will play Soldier Boy, branded “the original superhero” after serving in WWII and becoming “the first super celebrity, and a pillar of American culture for decades.” Some of you may have detected a thematic and satirical similarities between Captain America and this.
On Instagram, Ackles announced the big news: “I’m not sure what I’ll do when @cw supernatural wraps up this year. Then it dawned on me.”
Jeffrey Dean Morgan of The Walking Dead and Supernatural is also said to be joining the cast, with Kripke confirming that they’ve already discussed a role. (Dad of Soldier Boy?) That would be fantastic.)

They shared a photo of the costume with the message “he’s here to protect and serve, whether you like it or not” on Twitter.Little Nina is a Russian mob boss played by Katia Winter (Dexter, Sleepy Hollow). In the comics, she collaborated with Vought, utilising a weaker version of their Compound-V concoction to make the brains of her test subjects explode.
Gunpowder is played by Sean Patrick Flanery from Dexter, Blue Hawk is played by Nick Wechsler from Revenge, and Supersonic is played by Miles Gaston Villanueva from Nancy Drew.
All three characters were created specifically for the TV show.
According to Deadline, Orphan Black’s Kristin Booth and Marcella’s Jack Doolan are playing TNT Twins Tessa and Tommy .Frances Turner (The Man in the High Castle) has also joined as a series regular. She portrays Monique, Mother’s Milk’s wife.
