According to TMZ, who broke the news first, the singer gave birth to a boy on May 13 in Los Angeles. The celebrity birth was confirmed by People Magazine, which cited a source close to the pair who said they are at home with the kid, “Rihanna is doing well. They are very excited to be parents.”
Rihanna looked stunning in designer ensembles that showed off her expanding baby bulge during her pregnancy, but it wasn’t without trouble. Authorities say A$AP was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on April 20 in connection with a shooting in Hollywood last year. The rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, is suspected of firing a revolver at a friend, who suffered a minor injury and sought medical attention later, according to police.
Rihanna’s pregnancy was first made public in late January, when photos of her proudly flaunting her baby bump while strolling around Harlem with Rocky surfaced. Since early 2020, Rihanna and Rocky have been dating. They made their relationship public in November of the same year. There were rumours about the rapper cheating on her in April 2022, but they were eventually proven to be unfounded.
Futhermore, Rihanna’s ex-boyfriend Chris Brown wished her a happy birthday and congratulated her on the birth of her son. “Congratulations,” the rapper posted on his Instagram Story on Thursday, shortly after the baby’s delivery was announced.
