chip and dale rescue rangers movie

Chip and Dale: Rescue Rangers is the upcoming Disney animated movie. It starred everyone’s favourite chipmunks as they fought back against various crooks and their devious plots in one of the most famous shows of the 1990s. The chipmunk detectives have been in development for a live-action film project since 2014, decades after their Disney Channel TV series. The film was supposed to be directed by Robert Rugan and released in 2015. However, it stalled until 2019, when director Akiva Schaffer was announced to take over. Dan Gregor and Doug Mand, who wrote the script for How I Met Your Mother, were chosen to write the film’s screenplay. Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers will premiere on Disney+ on May 20th, 2022.

On April 27, 2022, the official trailer was released. Before they rejoin to solve the new mystery of missing cartoon characters, the trailer gives a deeper look at Chip and Dale’s individual lives. The latest trailer for the upcoming film, which stars John Mulaney as Chip, Andy Samberg as Dale, and KiKi Layne as KiKi, has been released. Chip and Dale are living in modern-day Los Angeles with cartoons and people in Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, but their lives are very different now. Chip has settled into a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman after their successful television series was terminated decades ago.

Meanwhile, Dale (Sandberg’s voice) has undergone CGI surgery and travels around the nostalgia convention circuit, eager to relive his golden days. Chip and Dale must mend their damaged friendship and resurrect their Rescue Rangers investigative egos to save their friend’s life when a previous castmate mysteriously vanishes. Will Arnett, Eric Bana, Flula Borg, Dennis Haysbert, Keegan-Michael Key, Tress MacNeille, Tim Robinson, J.K. Simmons, and Chris Parnell also star in the film.
