Following an incident in Orange County, California, Andy Dick was arrested on suspicion of criminal sexual violence. A male said he was sexually assaulted at a campground at O’Neill Regional Park in Trabuco Canyon at around 9 a.m., according to Orange County Sheriff’s Department spokesperson Scott Steinle. The suspect, actor and comedian Dick, 56, was arrested and put into the Orange County Jail on accusations of felony sexual violence. The person who filed the report was transported to a hospital to be examined. Captain Content’s RV YouTube channel broadcasted the event live.
Dick has previously made news for his outrageous conduct. Dick was charged with one count of sexual violence and one count of simple battery in 2018 after a woman said he gripped her butt as he went past her on the sidewalk, according to a police report. He also made inappropriate comments, according to her. Due to allegations of sexual harassment, he was also dismissed from the indie feature picture Raising Buchanan around the same time.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department surrounded his little trailer located in California’s O’Neill Regional Park, and the incident was captured on Captain Content’s RV livestream, according to TMZ. Dick was taken away in handcuffs and placed inside a cop cruiser, dressed in a grey sweatshirt and black joggers. When law officials arrived, Dick was said to be living in an RV with a group of live streamers. Sheriff’s deputies were observed entering Dick’s trailer and examining it after he was taken into custody during the police ambush.
Dick was jailed for felony domestic assault after reportedly hitting his lover in the head with a liquor bottle in November 2021. Dick and his lover were at his house when they got into a heated disagreement that rapidly became physical, according to authorities. When police arrived, they judged that there was sufficient evidence to arrest the comic since his lover was bleeding profusely from a large wound on his head. After posting a $50,000 bail, Dick was freed. Dick was arrested in October 2021 for reportedly beating his lover in the face with a frying pan. The actor was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon in June 2021 after reportedly striking a male partner with a metal chair.
