Season one of Ginny & Georgia is available to watch on Netflix.

Since the premiere of season one in February 2021, fans have been anticipating the release of season two of the blockbuster Netflix programme Ginny & Georgia. Following a year of silence following the show’s renewal, production for the second season began in February 2022, and we now have our first glimpse at what’s in store. According to set images, the Ginny & Georgia season two finale will involve a significant wedding, as Georgia (Brianne Howey), the mother in the mother-daughter combination, is dressed all in white for the occasion.

Georgia is seated near her daughter Ginny in a white and deep-red lined carriage in the first photograph (Antonia Gentry). Given that Ginny and her younger brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca) stole a motorcycle and fled upset at her mother in the season one cliffhanger, we should expect some sort of reconciliation between the two. The wedding also raises the issue of who Georgia will marry. Georgia had gone to assist her fiancé and town mayor Paul Randolph (Scott Porter) at his re-election party at the end of season one, while Ginny was fleeing Wellsbury. As Georgia’s shady and criminal history comes to light, secrets might rip the seemingly picture-perfect pair apart.

The second photograph focuses on the leading ladies’ ensembles. Georgia’s outfit, like her personality, is out of the ordinary. The white suit has a basic collar with two diamond studs at the top. However, there is a suggestion of an additional layer at the bottom, which might indicate that there is more to it than meets the eye. Ginny, meanwhile, is dressed in an all-white suit with a cream jacket to fit the theme. Given the lavish nature of the wedding, Paul’s financial situation appears to be secure. Last season, however, a spark grew between Georgia and Joe (Raymond Ablack), who had already linked briefly during their teen years. After all these years, might Joe finally win Georgia’s heart in season two?
