Since the Pirates of the Caribbean actor’s lawsuit against the Aquaman actress began in April, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been making headlines. While the hearing is presently on a one-week vacation, Jennifer Grey, Johnny’s ex-fiancée, has expressed her opinion on the continuing court struggle.
Grey and Depp dated for nine months, beginning in 1989, and were briefly engaged before she called it off a day before her 29th birthday. While promoting her new book, Out of the Corner: A Memoir, the Dirty Dancing actress discussed her previously engaged partner’s and his ex’s case. Jennifer Grey addressed Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s current court fight during a recent appearance with Entertainment Tonight, when she was discussing her memoir Out of the Corner: A Memoir, which also covers their brief affair. “All I can say about that trial is that it breaks my heart for everybody involved,” the 62-year-old actress told the site.

Jennifer Grey said, “I just think it’s sad and I hope it was settled and I just wish everybody well,” in response to a question regarding the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard trial. In terms of the Depp-Heard legal dispute, the Edward Scissorhands star is suing the London Fields actress for $50 million for a 2018 Washington Post column she published. She called herself a “public figure symbolising domestic abuse” in it, although she never used his name. On the other side, the actress is suing Johnny for $100 million in damages.
The defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard, which began on April 11 in a Virginia courthouse, is set to continue on May 16 after a one-week break. Jennifer Grey discusses her latest memoir, Out of the Corner: A Memoir, in which she is upfront and open about life-changing events.
