Netflix’s ‘Tourist’s Guide to Love’ will star Missi Pyle and Ben Feldman

In the film directed by Steven Tsuchida (In the Dark), a travel executive experiences an unexpected breakup before accepting an assignment to go undercover and learn about the Vietnamese tourist industry. When they decide to reroute the tour bus in order to explore life and love off the beaten path, she finds adventure and romance with her Vietnamese expat tour guide.

Cook and Joel S. Rice of Muse Entertainment are producing the film written by Eirene Donohue, with Jim Head of Head First Productions exec producing alongside Lydia Storie of Muse Entertainment. Radius Squared Media Group’s Galen Fletcher is co-producing, with CreaTV’s Irene Trinh as line producer and Dustin Nguyen as Vietnamese consulting producer. In April, production began in Vietnam.

Stars Rachael Leigh Cook, Scott Ly, Thanh Truc, and Le Thien were previously announced. The film is directed by Steven Tsuchida and written by Eirene Donohue.
“After an unexpected break up, a travel executive accepts an assignment to go undercover and learn about the tourist industry in Vietnam,” according to the synopsis.
“Along the way she finds adventure and romance with her Vietnamese expat tour guide when they decide to reroute the tour bus in order to explore life and love off the beaten path.”
