Netflix has released the first trailer for Cobra Kai Season 5 and announced the premiere date for the series. The popular action show will premiere on Netflix on September 9th. Cobra Kai is a martial arts comedy-drama television show that is a follow-up to Robert Mark Kamen’s original The Karate Kid films. Sony Pictures Television is distributing the series, which was produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg. Cobra Kai is already one of Netflix’s most popular shows. The sitcom already had a strong and devoted fanbase from its time on YouTube Red, but its popularity exploded once it moved to Netflix. Netflix acquired the series in June 2020, and released the third season on January 1, 2021.

Cobra Kai Season 5 teaser was recently revealed, and fans of the programme are in for a treat as another action-packed season is on the way. The show resumes following the startling Season 4 finale, in which Terry Silver’s (Thomas Ian Griffith) Cobra Kai won the All Valley Tournament. The two-minute teaser begins with multiple views of Cobra Kai winning the 51st Annual All Valley Karate Championship, followed by the introduction of a “whole valley of full Dojos.” Cobra Kai’s fourth season concluded on a cliffhanger, with Cobra Kai winning the All-Valley tournament and driving Miyagi-Do out of business. Terry Silver takes full leadership of Cobra Kai (after framing Kreese) and expands to other locations throughout the valley in Season 5

The official synopsis of the show is as follows:
“Following the shocking results of the All Valley Tournament, Terry Silver is expanding the Cobra Kai empire and trying to make his “No Mercy” style of karate the only game in town. With Kreese behind bars and Johnny Lawrence setting karate aside to focus on repairing the damage he’s caused, Daniel LaRusso must call on an old friend for help.”

Despite the fact that the season 5 cast has yet to be revealed, some characters are almost certain to return. To begin with, Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence are almost expected to return, implying that Ralph Macchio and William Zabka will as well. Amanda LaRusso and Carmen Diaz, played by Courtney Henggeler and Vanessa Rubio, will almost probably return.
