The third and final season of Netflix’s Spanish-language series ‘Control Z’ has a release date. Season 3 of the drama and thriller series ‘Control Z’ will be released on Netflix worldwide in July 2022.
Netflix also confirmed in a press release that Season 3 will be the show’s final season, concluding at the end of it.

Sofa, Javier, Ral, Mara, Claudia, and Susana wrestle over the money bag in the season 2 finale, with Susana falling off the roof and appearing to die along with the bag. When Pablo sees this, he grabs the money and drives away, leaving Javier, Alex, Gerry, and Claudia in shock, while Sofa, Ral, and Mara remain emotionless as they stand over the roof’s edge, staring at Susana’s lifeless body. Another aerial shot zooming out concludes the season.

Season 3 consists of Immediately following Susana’s unintentional death, the group agrees to keep their involvement a secret and never speak of it again. After 15 months, the group is about to graduate and realize their dreams. Everything appears to be going well for them until the hacker reactivates and threatens to take away what they value the most.

Ana Valeria Becerril as Sofa Herrera, Yankel Stevan as Ral León, Michael Ronda as Javier Williams, Luis Curiel as Luis Navarro, Macarena Garca Romero as Natalia Alexander, Fiona Palomo as Mara Alexander, Andrés Baida as Pablo Garca, and Xabiani Ponce de León as Ernesto are among the series’ cast members.
It’s the start of a new semester at el Colegio Nacional in ‘Control Z,’ and it appears that everyone has forgotten about Lus. That is, until an unknown person takes control of Lus’ social media accounts and threatens retaliation against those who have turned his life into a living nightmare. As each act of vengeance intensifies and permanently destroys our characters’ lives, it is up to Sofa to figure out who the perpetrator is.

Netflix did not explain why the show will not be renewed for a fourth season. We do know that shows on Netflix are increasingly struggling to make it past the third season, and it’s possible that they’ve determined that the third season is a good time to call it quits.
The first season received a “datedoc,” with the announcement that it had been seen by 20.5 million people in its first 28 days. We haven’t had much data since, but when Season 2 came out, we were able to track how well the series performed around the world via the top tens. The show performed best in Mexico, as shown in the map below, but it also managed to stay in the top ten in Latin America.
