Dont Worry Darling 2

The psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling’s debut trailer has dropped and it’s packed with suspense, drama, and sensuality. Don’t Worry, Darling is coming out in a few months, and the official trailer has arrived on Monday, giving fans the first look they demanded at the characters played by Harry Styles, Florence Pugh, Olivia Wilde, and Chris Pine. Based on a story by Carey van Dyke, Shane Van Dyke, and Silberman, the film is directed by Olivia Wilde with the screenplay written by Katie Silberman. Warner Bros. Pictures is set to release Don’t Worry Darling in the United States on September 23, 2022.

The film depicts Alice (Florence Pugh) and Jack (Harry Styles), a young, happy couple who live in a seemingly ideal society developed and paid for by the mystery company Jack works for during the 1950s. When Alice’s interest for her husband’s profession consumes her, she gradually becomes aware of the community’s flaws.

The three-minute-long trailer begins with Jack (Harry Styles) and Alice (Florence Pugh) living in a sunny and cheerful town, seemingly perfect lives. Styles and Pugh are seen having fun with their friends in the trailer, giving us a glimpse inside their flawless and joyful relationship. They are also seen saying to each other, “You and me,” expressing their unwavering dedication to each other.

The trailer goes on to depict the men of the village leaving for a top-secret Victory Project, asking their wives for ‘discretion and unswerving loyalty to the Victory cause’ in exchange. The settlement is characterised as an experimental town housing project that houses the men and their families who work on the top-secret Victory Project. While Jack and the other men labour on the top-secret Victory Project, the women “enjoy the beauty, luxury, and hedonism of their community,” on the condition that they don’t question their husbands’ work. But something sinister lurks beneath the gleaming facade of 1950s glitz, which Alice will set out to find.
