Marvel has stated that the release dates for The Marvels and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will be rescheduled. According to Deadline, the MCU schedule is being jumbled, with the Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels being pushed back from February 2023 to July 28, 2023. Ant-Man 3 was scheduled to release in July, but it has been pushed a few months until February 17. Neither film currently has any competition on their revised release dates.
The Quantum Realm will be revealed in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, which was initially hinted in the last film. Because time and space have little significance within the Quantum Realm, Ant-Man might cause major havoc once he returns. Jonathan Majors, who played He Who Remains on Loki, will appear in the film, but he hasn’t said whether he’ll reprise his role as He Who Remains or play the variation, Kang the Conqueror. Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michelle Pfeiffer, Michael Douglas, Jonathan Majors, and Kathryn Newton feature in the third Ant-Man film, which is directed by Peyton Reed.
Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) will meet Disney+ heroines Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) and Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris) in The Marvels when Nick Fury brings them together (Samuel L Jackson). The movie will be released on February 17th, 2023. The film’s production was said to be finished on November 24, 2021. It had been set for July 8, 2022, and November 11, 2022 earlier. It will be included in the MCU’s fourth phase.
For the time being, both films have the same release dates, although The Marvels will debut the weekend after Warner Bros.’ Barbie and Universal’s Oppenheimer. When it comes to Marvel at CinemaCon this week, Disney premiered the first 20 minutes of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which will hit theatres on May 6th. However, no new footage from this year’s Thor: Love & Thunder or Black Panther: Wakanda Forever was shown.
