5 days left until the release of Doctor Strange in Multiverse of Madness and it has been the longest week for the Marvel fans while waiting for the sequel of Doctor strange. Marvel teased further footage of Captain Carter’s (Hayley Atwell) live-action debut in the teaser published Sunday morning, showing her shield bouncing off several walls at what looks to be the Illuminati headquarters.

A secondary teaser published by Marvel Studios last week indicated that the Illuminati will appear in the film. Below is a video of the five-day countdown. If the teasers are true, Captain Carter will be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe character to be brought to life in a live-action film. The multi-tentacled Gargantos, one of the film’s adversaries, might be the same beast teased during the events of What If…? Season One.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness takes place after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home and the Disney+ series WandaVision. The magician played by Benedict Cumberbatch is compelled to confront his dark side. There will most certainly be several new Marvel characters presented, as well as the return of a few old ones. Sam Raimi, best known for directing Tobey Maguire in the original Spider-Man trilogy, directs the picture.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Saudi Arabia has banned Marvel’s Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. According to the publication’s sources, the film starring Benedict Cumberbatch has an LGBTQ character named America Chavez, who is homosexual in the comics. The censor board also rejected the video since homosexuality is prohibited in Middle Eastern countries. A good news for the movie was that in the first 24 hours of pre-sales, the Doctor Strange sequel sold more tickets than any other 2022 film, including the recently released The Batman. But considering it’s Marvel’s Doctor Strange, it’s definitely going to be a blast and solid hit.
