Amid Ukraine’s war with Russia, actress Angelina Jolie was seen greeting children and volunteers. The battle between Russia and Ukraine has been going on for quite some time. Angelina Jolie is a special envoy for the UN Refugee Agency, which reports that over 12.7 million people have fled Ukraine in the last two months. Jolie met volunteers working with the displaced during her visit to the station, who told her that each of the psychiatrists on duty spoke to roughly 15 people every day. Jolie was spotted ordering coffee in a café in Lviv, Ukraine, and the footage has gone viral.
The actress arrived in the war-torn country to meet refugees and express her gratitude to those who are working tirelessly to help them. Angelina then went to the city centre of Lviv, where she met a group of youngsters and their parents. She took pictures with the youngsters and a video showed her interacting with one of them. As they both laughed, the child, sitting on their father’s shoulders, teased Angelina with a bar of chocolate. She paid visits to orphans and injured youngsters who had been evacuated from Donetsk Oblast.
According to volunteers, many of those at the station are children aged two to ten. Jolie visited Yemen this month as a special envoy, where millions of people have been uprooted by war.
