The final episodes of the popular Netflix drama Ozark have been dropped this Friday. The crime series season 4 part 2 is now streaming on Netflix. The series was first premiered in 2017 and instantly attracts a massive audience. Season 4 will be the last chapter of the drama, so it is both exciting and emotional for the Ozark fans as well as the cast members.

As the show is ending, Jason Bateman who portrayed Marty Byrde in the show bids farewell to the show and took a moment to thank all of the Ozark supporters in the audience. On Twitter, the actor expressed his gratitude to everyone who has contributed to the success of the Netflix show over the past four seasons. The series’ last episodes have been released on the streaming service, and fans are flocking to discover what will happen to the Byrde family. The gang of characters’ journey hasn’t exactly been a happy one. However, every story must conclude. The moment has come, but what a ride Bateman and his co-stars have had. Batman tweeted, “Just want to say hi and a sincere thank you to all the nice folks out there that gave OZARK a spot in their lives over these past few years. Thanks for liking what we loved making for y’all!”

Ozark was held to an almost unattainable standard in the aftermath of game-changing crime dramas. But now it’s safe to say Bateman and co- teammates have more than met the challenge. However, they now face the equally difficult problem of concluding it in a way that pleases fans. Showrunner Chris Mundy spoke with Deadline about what’s in store for these characters in the final season. He said, “Really, I mean, I think for all of it, Marty and Wendy for the first time are going to be firmly on the same page. Ruth’s going to sort of be in firm opposition to them, everyone’s got to figure out what they want their life to be,” Mundy said in 2021. “For the first time, I think people are going to get to make some choices and not just be reactive to the craziness, that’s around them, and so, we feel like the end of the show has been built in. But hopefully, it’s something that as you’re experiencing it, you’re continually surprised.”
