Ozark, a crime thriller on Netflix, has returned with its fourth and final season. Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams conceived the series for Netflix, which was produced by MRC. The drama’s fourth instalment is split into two parts. The second half of the series got released on April 29, 2022, following the first half’s release in January 2022. Season 4 Part 2 consists of seven episodes and put the series to an end. The series follows the story of Marty and Wendy Byrde, a couple who were involved in money laundering and relocated from Chicago to the Missouri Ozarks, where they must launder money to make peace with a drug lord.

In part 1 of season 4, we have witnessed that Omar’s rogue nephew Javi murdered rival heroin dealer Darlene Snell and her new husband Wyatt. Sadly, Marty’s former helper Ruth, Wyatt’s cousin, discovered the bodies. Now she’s on the attack, putting the Byrdes’ precarious exit deal with the FBI at risk. If Ruth assassinates Javi, it may jeopardise their final shot for regular, crime-free life. Part 2 continues the story from where it left off in Part 1. Ruth will rush to avenge her cousin Wyatt’s murder in front of the public. At first, the tension builds steadily, then all at once. The mystery surrounding Ruth’s conduct persists throughout the episode. Javi’s murder will shock the viewers as it happens so unexpectedly that the audience’s jaws are certain to drop.

Ozark Season 2 Part 2 featured some never-before-seen drama moments. Ruth’s furious attitude was dominating the final seven episodes of the series, as she sought vengeance for the murder of her cousin Wyatt and his wife, Darlene. Marty and Wendy Byrde are also warned about the terrible consequences of Javi’s behaviour. Ruth appears to be unstoppable, despite Marty and Wendy’s best attempts. Julia Garner who is playing Ruth captured fans’ hearts with her excellent acting skills and appeared to be the series’ star at the finale. The fourth season like the other three seasons is the unusual combination of criminal malice, unsolvable family conflicts, and the darkest gallows humour. To the Byrde family’s season-four farewell song, serious tension plays an almost spooky second violin. There is bloodshed, of course; there is always bloodshed. But, for a show that was once so dark, these seven episodes are more about saying farewell than good riddance. The most tense scenes in the episode occur when Camila Elizondro (Veronica Falcon) learns from Clare Shaw that Ruth murdered her son, Javi. Camila rushes to kill Ruth, and in a heartbreaking moment, she kills the fan favourite character, leaving viewers in a state of bewilderment and sadness. With this the series comes to an end, winning millions of heart with the character’s stunned acting and the intense layout throughout the series.
