Actress Jossara Jinaro passed away following her battle with cancer at 48, she is known for featuring in hit TV shows including ER and Passions. Jossara Jinaro’s husband Matt Bogado told about her demise via social media on 27th April, writing, “With great sorrow, I announce the passing of my wife, Jossara Jinaro on this date, April 27, 2022” along with a snap of himself with Jinaro and their two kids.
Bogado continued, writing, “Jossara bravely fought cancer and came home to be surrounded by family. Jossara was an amazing wife, mother, artist, and friend. She had the most beautiful, kind soul and wouldn’t take no for an answer. Even in her last moments, she was still fighting. Shw is now resting in peace and will be remembered forever. Myself, Liam, and Emrys will miss her so deeply, although we know she is in our hearts and guiding us every step of the way.”
Jossara Jinaro was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and grew up in Colombia. Later, she settled in America following her stepfather, who was a diplomat, abducted and taken hostage. At 16, Jossara moved out on her own, relocating in Chicago and managed to get an agent. As she started acting, another agent approached her and told Jossara to move to Los Angeles. In LA, the actress started working with Columbia TriStar and played the character of Virginia Bustos in a show called “Viva Vegas”.
She also appeared in Anne Hathaway-starring “Havoc” as well as Maggie Gyllenhaal and Nicolas Cage-starrer “World Trade Center”. At The Los Angeles Reel Film Festival, 2012, she earned the best supporting actress award for her performance in “Desert Road Kill” and also won the best actress award at The Scarlet Waters Film Festival. Her last projects were “Nancy Hernandez & The Black Widows”, playing Dulce, which aired in 2021 and “10 Tricks” which is still being filmed.
