The Boys, an Amazon Prime Original series, aired in 2019 and quickly became a hit among the superhero community. When the second season of The Boys was released on Amazon’s Prime Video platform in the summer of 2020 during the pandemic it became a hit, the superhero comedy from Supernatural creator Eric Kripke was the most-watched Amazon original series worldwide when it got premiered. The Boys is officially renewed for the third season. The first three episodes will premiere on Friday, June 3, 2022. Creator Eric Kripke said, “When I cast Jensen as Soldier Boy, the first thing I said was, ‘I’m most excited for you, because of the amazing process you’ll go through with LJ, our Super Suit maker.’” He added, “It took six months but the experience surpassed Jensen’s expectations. L.J. has made a work of art that tips its hat to the WWII Soldier Boy from the comics while taking it in a sleek new direction.
