There was speculation that the ongoing defamation trial of Johnny Depp and Amber Heard may have high profile witnesses who will testify including Tesla CEO Elon Musk, he and Amber Heard were romantically involved following her divorce from Johnny Depp. However, now it is absolutely certain that Elon Musk won’t testify in the trial taking place at Fairfax County, Virginia. The world’s richest man is currently making headlines and dominating the news in the wake of buying Twitter.

Musk was being considered as a witness in the highly controversial case but his attorney told NBC that the founder of Space X will not be testifying in the Depp-Heard trial. Elon’s lawyer Alex Spiro confirmed to NBC, telling he “will not be testifying” in the defamation lawsuit case. As per media reports, Amber Heard and Elon Musk met for on the set of a movie called “Machete Kills” in 2013. Both dated back in 2016 following Amber’s divorce from Johnny Depp whom she tied knot with in 2015.

During Johnny Depp’s defamation lawsuit case against UK tabloid “The Sun”, the “Charlie and The Chocolate Factory” actor alleged that Amber Heard was cheating with Elon Musk. However, a representative of Elon dismissed Depp’s accusations, telling, “Elon and Amber didn’t start seeing each other until May 2016, and even then it was infrequent. Their relationship didn’t become romantic until some time later.” Other high-profile figures being considered as potential witnesses who may testify in the trial include James Franco and Paul Bettany who is also one of Depp’s closest friends.
