In a new behind-the-scenes video, Vin Diesel and Fast & Furious 10 aka Fast X director Justin Lin promote the film. The latest installment in the Fast and Furious franchise, Fast X, has debuted a new logo and title, and it is the first of a two-part conclusion to the franchise’s main plot.
However, as Dominic Toretto, Diesel returns to the franchise he helped establish, joined by series regulars Michelle Rodriguez, Ludacris, Tyree Gibson, Sung Kang, and Nathalie Emmanuel. New cast members include Jason Momoa as the main antagonist, Daniela Melchior from The Suicide Squad in an unspecified role, and Brie Larson in another unspecified role.Lin is back behind the camera, having re-joined the series with F9 last year after a hiatus following Fast & Furious 6.

Diesel and Lin promoted the upcoming Fast X installment in a new video from the set, saying that they had just finished week one of filming. Lin says it “feels like the beginning of an epic ending,” when Diesel asks how it feels, but the actor doesn’t let him get away with it. He nudges Lin once more, asking if he thinks Fast X is the best, which appears to elicit a resounding yes from Lin, who responds, “In my heart, yeah,” prompting Diesel to “Ooo” in response.

Diesel has long used social media to promote The Fast & The Furious franchise, even attempting to entice co-stars to return, including Dwayne Johnson, who has refused to return to the main franchise after a falling out with the actor (he instead starred in the first spinoff, Hobbs & Shaw). Despite Johnson’s absence and the tragic death of series regular Paul Walker, who died shortly after Furious 7, the series has enough new blood to keep things interesting, especially with Momoa and Larson joining the fray.
