Since the premiere of the first season of Elite in 2018, people all over the world have been intrigued by the teen drama. It portrays the fantasy story of Las Encinas, an ‘elite’ Madrid school where money, murder, and mayhem rule the lives of its pupils. The dramatic finale of Elite season 5 has fans begging for more of the teenage drama.
There is currently no information on when Elite Season 6 will be released. Season 6 is expected to premiere in 2023, based on the fact that Season 5 was just released (on April 7). Seasons of Elite usually air once a year, therefore season 6 will most likely air in the first part of next year, with some Elite Short Stories in between.
Despite the fact that Elite season 5 has only recently premiered, Netflix has already revealed that the program will be renewed for a sixth season. Netflix has also revealed that Elite season 6 will feature five new cast members, including the show’s first trans actor. The cast is already hard at work bringing another year in Las Encinas to life, with filming for the season starting on February 10, 2022. Before the start of season 6, the Élite Instagram account announced that five new actors, Carmen Arrufat, lvaro de Juana, Ana Bokesa, Alex Pastrana, and Ander Puig, would be joining the cast as new students. Elite’s first trans major cast member will be Ander Puig.
The names of the returning cast members have yet to be revealed, however certain significant characters from Elite Season 5 are expected to return in Season 6. Itzan Escamilla plays Samuel (aka Samu), Omar Ayuso plays Omar, Claudia Salas plays Rebeka (aka Rebe), Georgina Amorós plays Cayetana, Carla Daz plays Ari, Manu Rios plays Patrick, Martina Cariddi plays Menca, Diego Martn plays Benjamn, Pol Granch plays Phillipe, Valentina Zenere plays Isadora, and André Lamoglia plays Ivan.
