Outer Banks is an action-adevnture teen drama series which premiered on Netflix in 2021 and its ratings skyrocketed starting in July last year in America. A study ascertained that Outer Banks garnered millions of views and became one of the most-viewed shows on Netflix. In April this year, Netflix has confirmed that the mystery teenage drama Outer Banks’s season 3 will be made.
The series is a teenage action-adventure based on feud among two groups of people known as the Kooks who are wealthy and the Pogues who come from the working class. Outer Banks is written and directed by Josh Pate, Jonas Pate and Shannon Burke. After the ending of second season, viewers are certain that the show has not concluded. Fans are waiting for new season. As per a report of September last year, season three of Outer Banks will air around mid-2022 and another source mentioned that screenplay of season 4 is in the works.

The plot of Outer Banks is that a character named John B asks for help from his friends to look for the treasure which is responsible for the vanishing of his dad, set in the scenic Outer Banks, North Carolina as well as Charleston, South Carolina. Outer Banks depicts the unpredictable journey of the Pogues as they decide to go on a treasure hunt and they are not the only ones searching for it. Along their journey, the Pogues must deal with deadly situations. Season 3 will pick up from where season 2 concluded with Clara faced with the dilemma to whether to help John or not and Ward and Rafe trying to make sure the Pogues are not successful in their quest.
