Jada Pinkett Smith returns with her mom Adrienne Banfield Norris and daughter Willow Smith for the fifth season of their talk show called “Red Table Talk”. The trailer of Red Table Talk released on 19th April and provides glance of interviews with Academy-award winner Kim Basinger and her daughter Ireland Baldwin, the mom-dad of Miss USA Cheslie Kryst who committed suicide recently, eight-time Grammy nominee Janelle Monae and victims of Tinder Swindler.
Season 5 of Red Table Talk will also witness Smith children appearing for the first time, Jaden, Willow and Trey Smith. The show comes back less than a month after the infamous Oscars slap incident when Jada Pinkett Smith’s husband Will Smith went on the stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock for mocking his wife’s shaved head. Will later won the best actor award.
The fallout of the feud resulted in Will Smith resigning from the Academy this month and the Academy banning him from attending the show for the next ten years. Although, he did apologised to Rock a day later on Instagram but it was too late as the damage has already been done.
Red Table Talk will air on Facebook Watch today on 20th April at 5 pm.
