Gil Colson, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Ferrell as Oswald Cobblepot/ Penguin. Barry Keoghan, Jayme Lawson, Alex Ferns, and twins Max and Charlie Carver will also star.
“Two years of stalking the streets as Batman, instilling fear in the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the Gotham City shadows.

The lone vigilante has established himself as the sole embodiment of vengeance amongst his fellow citizens, with only a few trusted allies — Alfred Pennyworth, Lt. James Gordon — amongst the city’s corrupt network of officials and high-profile figures,” reads the synopsis.
“When a sadistic killer targets Gotham’s elite, a trail of cryptic clues leads the World’s Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he meets Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman, Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin, Carmine Falcone, and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler.”

As the evidence points closer to home and the scope of the perpetrator’s plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the perpetrator, and bring justice to Gotham City’s long history of power abuse and corruption.”
Matt Reeves directs The Batman, which is based on a screenplay he co-wrote with Peter Craig. Reeves is also working on two HBO Max series that will be set in the same universe as the film. There’s a Gotham City Police project in the works, as well as a Penguin-centered series starring Colin Farrell.
