Never Have I Ever Season 3 has been announced by Netflix, but there is some bad news for fans. Summer will return to our screens for a fourth season, as co-creator Mindy Kaling announced in March 2022. That will, however, be the show’s final season.
But let us not get too far ahead of ourselves. What does the future hold for Devi and her tangled love triangle with Ben and Paxton? What can we expect in terms of bad behavior in the new season?
Season 2 of Never Have I Ever
Devi attempted to date both Paxton and Ben at the same time while filming the second season of Never Have I Ever, just before her family was about to leave for India, with disastrous results. Paxton and Aneesa eventually became a couple, and Ben began dating Aneesa. Devi and Ben come to terms with their feelings for each other, and Devi admits she is envious of Ben.

Devi and Paxton made their relationship official in the season two finale when they performed the winter dance together. He tried to keep their late-night meeting a secret from his classmates at first because he was afraid of being judged for forgiving Devi for cheating on him, but she walked away from him and his washboard abs.
Ben and Aneesa’s relationship appears to be coming to an end, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Ben and Devi will pick up where they left off before their relationship fell apart. Paxton has returned to the scene, and Devi is clearly smitten with him. We go over all of that and more right here.
“I lost a parent, and I believe that grief and grieving are such complicated things that can take many forms, and we’ve loved the scenes between Devi and her father, played by Sendhil Ramamurthy, who’s incredible,” she explained. “I think the thing I’m most excited about is delving into their relationship and how your relationship with your parents continues even after they die.” We’re excited to look into it.
“She’s also just a funny character with a good heart who makes a lot of bad decisions.” I love watching her do that as she gets closer to applying to colleges and seeing what that brings out in her.” Even if Ben and Aneesa’s relationship appears to be ending, that does not mean that Ben and Devi will pick up where they left off before their romance ended. Now that Paxton is back in Devi’s life, he is undeniably in love with him.

Season one’s narrator, John McEnroe, returns to tell Devi’s story in season two. McEnroe will also play the narrator in season 3 of Never Have I Ever.
Chrissy Teigen was supposed to be a part of season 2, but she backed out and was replaced. Season 2 also saw the introduction of new recurring cast members Common, Megan Suri, and Utkarsh Ambudkar, all of whom are expected to return in season 3.
Netflix also announced in January 2022 that actor Anriduh Pisharody will join the season 3 cast in a recurring role as Des, a smart kid who goes to a private school like Devi. We’ll have to wait and see what Des has in store for Devi.
Is Never Have I Ever season 3 done filming?
According to star Darren Barnet and co-creator Mindy Kaling, filming began in November 2021 and ended in late February 2022. Never Have I Ever season 3 could premiere on Netflix as early as April 2022 if production begins soon.
Thankfully, the show’s production was not delayed or pushed back, and it did not take a little longer than expected, as it has with other Netflix shows. We’re still expecting Never Have I Ever season 3 to premiere on Netflix between June and August 2022, now that it’s in post-production.
One thing is certain: it will be one of the most anticipated Netflix shows of 2022.
