The Man Who Murdered Reality TV Star Angela Simmons' Fiance Got Life In Prison

Reality tv star Angela Simmon’s former fiance’s murderer was finally sentenced to life in jail on 15th April, Friday. Convicted killer Michael Williams shot dead Sutton Tennyson outside the victim’s garage in 2018. Sutton Tennyson, who was 37, shared a five year child with his fiancee Angela Simmons. A few days after his murder, Michael Williams turned himself in to the police, he was charged with murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a gun during commission of a felony. Michael also received an additional fifteen years in prison on the charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

“The Run’s House” star testified at her fiance’s murder trial and shared her feelings on social media regarding the verdict, posting pictures on her Instagram account of Sutton Tennyson, their son and herself. Angela Simmons wrote in the caption, “Justice served today! We got you! We got him”. Simmons also posted on her Instagram story a snap of Tennyson holding their kid on shoulders and wrote, “We got you! Justice served today”.

Sutton Tennyson was murdered outside his house following an argument with a man, he was confirmed deceased when cops showed up at the scene. His body suffered at least twelve gunshot injuries and was discovered in the garage of his home. As per the police, the suspect Michael Williams “sped from the scene in a car” after shooting the victim multiple times. However, a few days after Sutton’s killing, Williams turned himself in to the police. His attorney accompanied him to the Atlanta Police Headquarters.

Angela Simmons then shared several snapshots paying tribute to the father of her child, writing, “Thank you for leaving behind my greatest gift. I’m hurting, I’m numb. Thank you for the outpouring of love everyone. Couldn’t believe I’m even saying Rest in Peace Sutton.”
