The first American reality show with a predominantly Asian cast is Bling Empire. It premiered on Netflix in January 2021, and reality TV fans were immediately drawn to it. People were excited to see what the original series was about, which was described as a real-life Crazy Rich Asians. With all of the drama that occurred in the first season, they were not disappointed.
The reality show follows the lavish lifestyles of a group of Asian and Asian American friends in Los Angeles. These wealthy socialites are known for their extravagant parties and expensive shopping sprees. Some are self-made millionaires, real estate investors, billionaire heirs, and influential people. They have money to spend, and they’re going to spend it!
It wasn’t difficult to get through the first season quickly because the show was so entertaining to watch. By the end of the season, however, fans were clamoring for more episodes. Fortunately, fans didn’t have to wait long because Netflix renewed Bling Empire for a second season just two months after it debuted.

The plot of the second season was revealed in a Netflix press release. “This season, a romance between Kevin and Kim develops, Cherie and Jessey’s relationship is called into question, and Kane and Kevin’s best bud friendship is put to the test, Beverly Hills’ rivaling queens, Christine and Anna, put a new spin on the art of social warfare,” according to Netflix.
