Cardi B and Offset welcomed a baby boy in their lives on September 4 last year. Cardi B announced the birth of her son on September 6 on Instagram. Since then they had not shown clear images of their son. However, recently the rappers have introduced their 7- month old on Instagram with his name and a photo.
The couples name their baby “Wave Set Cephus” and introduced it on Instagram. Taking to Cardi B’s Twitter, she revealed how the name came to their mind and who suggested it. “When Set suggested Wave, I was sold! THAT HAD TO BE HIS NAME!” She shared on Twitter alongside a short video of a big jewellery piece that has his name written on it. She also shared a cute picture of her son on Instagram, rocking in a blue fur jacket and wearing a big jewellery piece.
Offest also shared on Instagram an adorable picture of his baby with his name, glancing at somebody. “Wave Set Cephus“, he captioned the photo.
Cardi revealed her pregnancy news first time on the stage during the BET Awards while performing with Offset and Migos in June 2021. The couples, alongside their 7-month baby boy, also have a 3-year-old daughter ‘Kulture’. Offset is also a parent of Kalea, his daughter and son Kody, both 7 years, and Jordan who is 12- years old from his previous relationships.
After fans criticized Cardi B for not attending the Grammys earlier this month, the rapper deleted both her Twitter and Instagram accounts but now she is back on social media. Upon announcing the birth of her son, Cardi shared she, her husband Offset, and their children will be on the cover of Essence’s May/June issue, in which they discuss raising a blended family.
