Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited the Queen in the United Kingdom while on way to the Invictus Games. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex moved to California in the year 2020, the couple returned to England together for the first time since the pandemic started. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s rep confirmed that they visited his grandma the Queen, who is 95 and has been living in Windsor Castle. The husband and wife are currently visiting Europe for the fifth Invictus Games, happening in The Hague, Netherlands in the coming weekend.

Meghan Markle left Europe in March, 2020 following herself and her husband Prince Harry performing their last royal obligations before giving up their royal status during the end of that month. Although, Prince Harry visited England for two purposes, attending his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in April, 2021 and in July, 2021, he went to London to unveil the statue of his mother Princess Diana side by side his elder brother Prince William. In June, 2021, Meghan Markle gave birth to their daughter named Lilibet Diana, she was named after Princess Diana and the Queen’s nickname when she was a kid.

Meghan Markle will be present with Prince Harry in the first few days of the Invictus Game, confirmed by the spokesperson of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The Invictus Games is an international sports event dedicated to military veterans and wounded personnel. The Invictus Games was initiated by Prince Harry. This is not the first time Meghan Markle is attending a major sports event with her spouse.

The duo’s first public appearance was in 2017 when they attended the Toronto Games and in 2018 after confirming that Meghan was pregnant with their first child Archie, the couple attended Sydney Games.
