The Netflix Twitter account confirmed that Outer Banks season 3 had officially started filming on February 28, 2022, tweeting “Time to get in a pogue state of mind…” and two photos of the cast enjoying the sun on set. So, now that filming has begun, we can expect more updates in the coming weeks.

PLOT OF OUTER BANKS SEASON 3: WHAT HAPPENS IN OUTER BANKS SEASON 3?

Unfortunately, information about what will happen in Outer Banks season 3 is scarce at the moment, with the show’s creators and Netflix keeping their cards close to their chest. However, we do know some things and can make assumptions about others.
Season 2 of the show featured a lot of drama, with John B and Sarah in the Bahamas following the tumultuous end of season 1. Carlacia Grant, who plays Cleo, has been promoted to series regular for the third season, so we can expect to see her more. Charles Halford will, of course, reprise his role as Big John, with the storyline of John B’s father playing a key role in the upcoming season.
