Netflix’s upcoming British anthology drama series is all set to release on April 15, 2022. Starring Sienna Miller and Rupert Friend, the series is an adaptation of Sarah Vaughan’s novel series of the same name. The drama is created by David E.Kelly and Mellisa James Gibson and consists of six episodes that will release on Netflix.
The courtroom drama ‘Anatomy of a Scandal’ narrates the story of Sophie(Sienna Miller), the wife of parliamentarian James(Rupert Friend) who has been accused of sexual harassment. Now more than the extramarital sex, James has also been blamed for having raped his colleague, Olivia Lytton, and thus jumped himself into a political scandal. Sophie’s comfortable and stable life begins to crumble because of her husband’s affair. Despite Sophie’s complete conviction that James is innocent, she must accept the harsh truth that he may actually be guilty. In all likelihood, Kate (Michelle Dockery) will be the prosecution lawyer for James. Clearly, the book’s dignity has been preserved by the writers.
