The dog walker of Lady Gaga is requesting the man who attempted to kill him to surrender to the police after the perpetrator was erroneously released from prison, Ryan Fischer expressed through a statement which he posted on Instagram that he is very worried following James Howard Jackson’s release from jail this week on April 6th “due to a clerical error”. Ryan Fischer wrote on social media, “While I’m deeply concerned at the events that led to his release. I’m confident law enforcement will rectify the error. I ask for Mr Jackson to turn himself over to the authorities, so resolution to the crime committed against me runs its course, whatever the courts determine that outcome to be. Thank you to everyone who is supporting me during this time.”

Ryan Fischer issued the statement following Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Bureau confirming that James Jackson, who shot Fischer on February 24th last year, was accidentally released from county jail. Fischer was walking Lady Gaga’s three French bulldogs when he was shot. LASD said, “The investigation is continuing and the LASD Major Crimes Bureau is actively working to get Mr Jackson back in custody.”

Following the shooting, the murderer Jackson and two other criminals escaped in a car with Lady Gaga’s dogs named Gustav and Koji, two days later the dogs were recovered by the cops. On April, 2021, five individuals were arrested in this high-profile case and James Howard Jackson was charged with attempted murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, second-degree robbery, assault with a semiautomatic firearm and a convicted felon carrying a concealed firearm. Although, it is still not known what pleas he entered in response to these violent felony charges. Ryan Fischer was very critically injured and ended up with a collapsed lung, in an interview he told CBS Mornings anchor Gayle King, “The people in the ER, who I had seen that night, told me they didn’t think I was gonna survive that night.”

Fischer also thanked Lady Gaga for her consistent support during his recovery in the hospital, adding, “She’s helped me so much. She’s been a friend for me and after I was attacked, my family was flown out and I had trauma therapists flown to me and I stayed at her house for months while friends comforted me and security was around me.”
