Meet Adeline Rudolph, a rising Netflix star from Hong Kong

Before beginning her modelling career with Next Model Management, the Hong Kong-born actress attended German-Swiss International School and studied fashion at UCL.
Rudolph, who is half-Korean and half-German, made her acting debut in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, where she met Abigail Cowen, who she became lifelong friends with.

Born and raised in Hong Kong Adeline Rudolph has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. You’ve probably seen her face as Agatha Night on Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Minerva Mable on The CW’s Riverdale, or on Instagram, where she has over 600,000 followers.
Resident Evil, a live-action series based on the popular video game franchise, is set to premiere this summer, and she’ll be in it.

So what do we know about the 27-year-old rising star?

Rudolph was born in Hong Kong on February 10, 1995, and is of Korean and German descent. Except for her twin sister, Caroline, with whom she has a strong sisterly bond, little is known about her family. They both enjoy posting snippets of themselves together on social media.
Rudolph moved to London after finishing her studies in fashion design and development at UCL after attending German-Swiss International School in her hometown.
During her relocation to the United States, she landed a modelling job with Next Model Management, a global agency that represents up-and-coming talent. She then transitioned into music videos and, of course, acting, landing her first role in Netflix’s Chilling Adventures of Sabrina in 2018.

Despite her jet-setting lifestyle, Rudolph stated in a 2020 interview with Vogue Hong Kong that she misses the mountains and food of Hong Kong the most: “I miss the mountains and food of Hong Kong the most, and street food is one of the best.”

Her career as a model – and more

Rudolph dabbled in the fashion world in addition to studying the discipline at university. With a height of 174cm and striking good looks, it’s no surprise that she began her career as a model. She’s signed with Primo in Hong Kong and PMA in Hamburg, in addition to Next Model Management in the United States, and has appeared in Marie Claire and Elle magazines.

Many showbiz stars, however, are multitalented and have multiple hyphenated titles, and Rudolph is no exception. Rudolph told Coup de Main Magazine that she would be open to pursuing a music career in the future because it “goes so well with acting.” “[I] would love to explore writing and directing someday,” she told Vogue Hong Kong. I’m attempting to become more involved in philanthropy and to speak out in support of what I believe in.”

She is friendly with her co-stars

Rudolph has already made “lifelong friends” as a result of her roles in two major television series produced by Netflix and The CW, and she brags about it on social media. Abigail Cowen, Kiernan Shipka, Tatiana Gabrielle Hobson, and others are among her famous friends, but don’t forget about her handsome beau Tommy Martinez, whom she’s been dating since 2018 and with whom she attends red carpets. Despite the fact that they aren’t technically co-stars, the Venezuelan actor had a role on Riverdale as Malachai until 2018, while his girlfriend didn’t join until 2021.

Rudolph will appear in Netflix’s Resident Evil alongside Lance Reddick (John Wick), Ella Balinska and Tamara Smart from Charlie’s Angels, in a haunting story set in 2036, 14 years after a global apocalypse caused by a deadly virus – a pandemic story that feels all too familiar these days.
