The ‘365 Days: This Day’ Trailer Teases an Emerging Love Triangle

365 Days

The official trailer for 365 Days: This Day, the upcoming sequel to 2020’s steamy erotic drama 365 Days, has been released by Netflix. The original film was in the vein of Fifty Shades of Grey, telling the story of a young woman named Laura (Anna-Maria Sieklucka) who is imprisoned for 365 days by a Sicilian gangster named Massimo (Michele Morrone), who wants her to fall in love with him. The second film will follow Laura and Massimo as they try to have a real relationship while dealing with Massimo’s family loyalty and a mysterious and handsome man who enters Laura’s life. In this sequel, Sieklucka and Morrone reprise their roles.

The trailer begins with an intriguing role reversal, with Laura telling Massimo that she will do whatever she wants to him rather than the other way around. We see the couple marry, and Laura grow tired of living under the watchful eye of a gangster and his henchman. Laura quickly develops feelings for a man who works for Massimo, which appears to be the beginning of a complicated love triangle of sorts. As the trailer progresses, viewers are treated to a slew of steamy and suspenseful images.

Barbara Biaows and Tomasz Mandes, who also directed the first film, direct 365 Days: This Day. Mandes, Mojca Tirs, and Blanka Lipiska wrote the script. Mandes also co-produces the film with Ewa Lewandowska and Maciej Kawulski. 365 Days: This Day also stars Magdalena Lamparska and Simone Susinna, in addition to Sieklucka and Morrone. According to reports, this upcoming film is the second installment of a trilogy and was shot concurrently with the third film. 365 Days is based on Blanka Lipiska’s Polish novel 365 Dni.

The original 365 Days premiered on Netflix in June 2020 and was the most-watched program on the popular streaming service for one of the longest periods of time. 365 Days was also one of the most-watched programs in the world, with viewers from all over the world tuning in. While the film was extremely popular, it received criticism from both audiences and critics for its depiction of sexual violence and its distasteful depiction of the Mafia.

On April 27, Netflix will release 365 Days: This Day. Check out the film’s official trailer and synopsis below:
