Everything to know about Netflix’s upcoming K-drama My Liberation Notes

Netflix’s South Korean drama series, My Liberation Notes starring Lee Min-Ki, Kim Ji-won, and Son Seok-Koo is all set to release Saturday, April 9. The series is directed by Kim Suk-Yoon and produced by Park Hae-Young. The show is scheduled to premiere on Netflix and JTBC and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 22:30. It was reported that filming the show was currently in progress on October 5, 2021. All 16 episodes will release in the span of eight weeks with the final episode released on May 29, 2022.

Plot Of My Liberation Notes

My Liberation Notes follows the story of three siblings who want to escape from their frustrating and boring life. The three siblings Yeom siblings, Chang Hee, Mi Jung, and Ki Jung, all want to run from the lack of answers in their lives in Sanpo Village, where people move out more than they move in. Suddenly a queer and strange man Mr.Goo comes to live in their neighborhood. He is an alcoholic person who seemed strange and weird. This makes all three of them curious about the reality of the person. Even the youngest of the three siblings, Mi Jung, who is shy, approaches him due to his cautious nature and desire to keep everything to himself. She is the youngest child in the family and wants to liberate herself from her mundane life, so she decides to find out about his neighbor’s life.

Netflix has released two trailers of the show now. In the trailer, we see how the life of these three siblings changes when they encounter a stranger entering their lives. With his entry, he has already created traction in the group. The trailer also revealed that the stranger Mr.Goo is an alcoholic. The trailer ends with Mi-Jung disclosing that she doesn’t feel satisfied with her life. “I want to be filled up for once,” she cries. “Love isn’t enough.”
