Tom Hiddleston will star in new Apple TV+ series ‘The White Darkness’

Tom Hiddleston famously known for his role of Loki in MCU films and web series is set to star in the Apple TV+ series “The White Darkness”. David Grann’s 2018 non-fiction book of the same name is being adapted into this upcoming limited series by Soo Hugh. Hiddleston will play Henry Worsley, a real-life man whose story will inspire the Apple TV+ adaptation. Hiddleston will also be the executive producer of the series.

The project will also include Soo Hugh as an executive producer, working with Theresa Kang-Lowe and Caroline Garity of Blue Marble Pictures as well as Mark Heyman. As an adventure-loving former soldier and devoted father set out on foot to cross Antarctica, this story follows him on an epic journey like no other. “A harrowing tale of courage, love, family and the extremes of human capacity” is described as the official description for the series. Scheduled to premiere globally on Apple TV+, there is no release date as of yet.

Tom Hiddleston first appeared in the role of Loki in MCU Thor(2011) the character became quite famous among the fans, especially after The Avengers(2012). He is also set to appear in The Essex Serpent Apple TV+ original Series. Furthermore, he will appear in Netflix’s upcoming limited series, White Stork, which is currently under production. The other cast members of the series are yet to be announced other than Tom Hiddleston as the Lead Actor.

The White Darkness joins a roster of dramas that includes the likes of WeCrashed, The Last Days of Ptolemy Gray, Masters of the Air, Five Days at Memorial, and many more.
