Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is a new superhero film based on the same-named Marvel Comics character. It is the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s twenty-eighth film and the eleventh entry of Phase Four. On May 6, 2022, the film will be released.
Doctor Strange, Avengers: Endgame, WandaVision, and Spider-Man: No Way Home are all sequels, including a crossover to Loki’s first season.

Doctor Strange and Scarlet Witch’s language overlaps in the current Doctor Strange 2 teaser, as they repeat a sentence from an earlier video : “I’ve been dreaming, the same dream, and every morning, the same nightmare.”
As Wanda reunites with Billy and Tommy, her kids the lyric plays, signifying that this is the dream/nightmare she keeps reliving. The nightmare for Scarlet Witch is fantasising of being with her kids again only to wake up to find that they aren’t there. This scene not only extends the reference of “nightmare” in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’ marketing, but it also adds to Scarlet Witch’s sad MCU tale.
Since the WandaVision finale, Nightmare has been linked to Billy and Tommy’s whereabouts. Nightmare is the emperor of the Dream Dimension, a region where human dreams come to life and dwell under his watchful supervision. It would make sense for Scarlet Witch’s children to reside in the Dream Dimension now that Marvel has verified that she is dreaming about them. Nightmare may have brought the children there in the hopes of enticing Scarlet Witch there and obtaining part of her amazing power.
